Hello Berg Team!
We’ve spent some time creating a new form on the Berg App for reporting Near Misses and/or Good Catches. The main goal we are striving for with the new Near Miss and Good Catch form is to raise your awareness of possible hazards or dangerous situations that are present on the job sites we are working at. As someone who is in the field everyday, our workers have the biggest opportunity to catch and fix possibly dangerous hazards or situations before a worker gets injured or hurt. In addition to keeping your job site safe and doing the right thing to mitigate hazards by reporting these situations, we will also be holding a raffle of all submitted reports on a monthly basis with the winner receiving $100. Additionally, all reports received will be reviewed and the best Near Miss and/or Good Catch for that month will be rewarded $25.
Submitting the reports is a very easy and short process. To access the form, you will need to go to http://Field.berggroup.app. Once at the home page you will click on the link for the Safety page.
Once you are on the safety page you will continue by clicking on the “Good Catch / Near Miss” link.
After you click the “Good Catch/Near Miss” link you will be taken to the fillable form. Fill out all fields as best as you can and upload a photo as well. Remember that a near miss or good catch is not a specific situation, good examples include: dropped tools and/or materials from heights or almost tripping or slipping on material or something spilled on the ground. Keep your eyes open and report and fix these unsafe situations in our workplaces for every ones benefit.
