6.8.10 MEWP Traveling

6.8.10.2 Moving or Traveling

The operator shall:

  1. a) maintain a clear view of the area continuously in the direction of movement, including above and below the work platform, maintain an adequate clearance distance from hazards and avoid any distractions;

HAZARD: Employee is exposed to operational (MEWPS) hazards.

ABATEMENT: Operator must maintain a clear view of the area continuously that        includes below the work platform.
