If the work platform, extension or elevating assembly becomes caught, snagged or otherwise prevented from normal motion by adjacent structures or other obstacles such that control reversal does not free the platform, users and operator shall ensure that all operators and occupants are removed from the work platform before attempts are made to free the platform using ground controls.
HAZARD: Employee is exposed to operational (MEWPS) collapse hazards.
ABATEMENT: Remove the operator from the work platform before ground controls are used to lower the MEWPS platform.
